Returns & Refunds Policy

At Knick Knack Paddy Wack (KKPW) we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your options for returns, exchanges and refunds, and sits alongside the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. These rights apply for a reasonable time depending on the product, and are not limited by the change-of-mind timeframe below.

30-day change-of-mind returns
In addition to the rights above, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind return window — you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it (unworn or unused, with any tags attached) and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. Change-of-mind returns are sent back to us at your own expense, and the original shipping cost is non-refundable. To start a return, contact us at info@kkpw.com.au. Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us as soon as possible if your item is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can assess the issue and make it right. For these items: the change-of-mind condition, tag and packaging requirements above do not apply; we will cover the cost of return postage (or reimburse it); and your rights are not limited to 30 days — consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply for a reasonable time based on the product.

Items we can't accept for change of mind
For health and hygiene reasons, certain personal-use items (such as chew necklaces and eye masks) can't be returned for change of mind once opened or used, unless they are faulty. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification. As above, the item must be in the same condition you received it — unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging — and you'll need proof of purchase. Where applicable, we will also refund the standard delivery cost as required under EU consumer law.

Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we'll let you know whether your refund has been approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven't received it, contact us at info@kkpw.com.au.
